BEFORE DAY ONE

Remove the avoidable friction.

01

Name the owner

Choose one person for priorities, questions, feedback, and approvals.

02

Prepare access

Provide only the accounts and information needed for the role.

03

Show good work

Share examples, scripts, templates, and the standards that matter.

AN EXAMPLE FIRST MONTH

Context. Practice. Feedback.

01

Week 1: learn the business

Explain the offer, customer, tools, schedule, and escalation rules. Walk through real examples together.

02

Week 2: review execution

Start with a manageable scope. Review actual output and correct misunderstandings early.

03

Week 3: build ownership

Increase responsibility where the work is consistent. Keep decision limits clear.

04

Week 4: agree the next stage

Review progress, recurring gaps, workload, and the support needed for the next month.

A USEFUL WEEKLY CHECK-IN

Keep the conversation specific.

What was completed, and what changed?

What is blocked, and who can resolve it?

What feedback would make the next piece of work better?

Are the priorities and workload still realistic?

What is the most important next step?

If the placement struggles, review the brief, training, workload, and communication before deciding whether the issue is skill or fit. Boogie can help coordinate that conversation.

What could the right
person help you do?

One role or a full team. Let’s define your next step.
