01
Getting started
How does hiring with Boogie work?
Start with a discovery conversation about the work, skills, tools, schedule and hours you need. Boogie searches its candidate pool or sources for your brief, shares suitable candidates, and coordinates interviews. You interview and approve the person before the agreed onboarding and start date.
What should I prepare before a discovery call?
Bring a short list of recurring tasks, the tools you use, required skills, preferred working hours and time zone, and when you would like someone to start. Explain which tasks need customer contact and which are behind the scenes. Boogie can help turn those details into a job description.
Can you recruit for a specialized role?
Yes, Boogie can discuss a search built around your specific requirements. Define the skills, software and level of responsibility you need so the team can assess the brief and look for suitable experience. A specialist search depends on candidate fit and availability; it does not mean someone is immediately available.
Can I interview candidates before deciding?
Yes. Boogie shares candidate information and coordinates an interview so you can discuss experience, communication and the actual work. The team can help you prepare relevant questions and clarify the match before you approve a candidate.
How quickly can someone start?
Timing depends on the role, required experience, candidate availability and your readiness to onboard. Share your target start date during the discovery conversation so Boogie can discuss a realistic next step. A target date is not a confirmed placement or start date.
02
Hours & pricing
Can I hire part-time?
Yes. Boogie supports part-time as well as full-time arrangements. Discuss the tasks, expected hours and required coverage so the team can match the brief to candidate availability. Confirm the minimum engagement and its billing period in your quote.
Will a part-time assistant be available whenever I need them?
Availability follows the working schedule you agree. A part-time arrangement does not automatically provide all-day or on-call coverage. Be specific about the hours when you need replies, live calls or time-sensitive work, and the work that can be completed asynchronously.
Can I increase or reduce hours as my workload changes?
Discuss seasonal changes and expected peaks before hiring. Boogie can help coordinate a revised scope and schedule, subject to the person's availability and your agreed terms. Extra hours or a move to full-time should be confirmed before you rely on that coverage.
What determines the hourly rate?
Boogie's public client starting rate is $8/hour. The actual quote depends on the role, experience, schedule and scope. Describe the work and required tools to get a role-specific quote; the starting rate is not a rate for every role or a candidate wage.
Are software, advertising and business training included?
Plan for software, lead sources, advertising spend and business-specific training separately unless your quote expressly includes them. Confirm the tools and access needed for the role, along with any separate charges, before work begins.
Is there a long-term commitment or a standard cancellation policy?
Boogie advertises no long-term commitment. Your service agreement still defines billing, schedule changes and how to end an engagement. Ask the team to confirm the notice and other terms that apply to your arrangement; do not assume immediate cancellation or a refund.
03
Onboarding & support
Who trains the assistant in my business?
Your business provides its systems, procedures, priorities and feedback. Boogie helps with recruiting and onboarding coordination, but the person still needs to learn how you work. Set aside time to explain the tasks and review early work so responsibility can grow with confidence.
What should be ready before the first working day?
Confirm the role, schedule, start date and point of contact. Prepare the required tool access, task instructions and examples of good work. Agree the first priorities and how questions will be handled with Boogie and the person joining your team.
How does onboarding work for a telemarketing role?
Depending on the agreed scope, telemarketing onboarding can include reviewing the dialer and lead flow, working through your script, practicing mock calls and discussing common objections. Your team provides the business context and approved materials. Confirm the exact preparation and responsibilities before the start.
How can I delegate without handing over everything at once?
Start with a defined task and an example of the result you want. Review drafts or completed work, explain corrections and expand responsibility as the person learns your workflow. For example, an assistant can prepare an email for your review before taking on direct customer communication.
What if the match or communication is not working?
Tell your Boogie contact what is happening, with specific examples and the outcome you need. The team can help clarify expectations, support feedback and discuss next steps. Any replacement process, timing and applicable charges depend on your agreement; an instant replacement is not promised.
Who should I contact about an invoice, payment or support issue?
Existing clients and team members should contact their established Boogie contact with a brief description of the issue. If you are unsure who to reach, email info@boogieteam.com. Share sensitive billing or payroll details only through the secure process provided by the team, rather than a public chat.

Careers
Where can I apply for work with Boogie?
Visit our careers portal to view current openings and apply for a suitable role. Check each listing's skills, schedule and location requirements. A service listed on the Boogie website does not necessarily mean that role is currently open.
What happens after I apply?
The process generally includes screening and relevant assessment, followed by a client interview and onboarding if selected. Requirements and timing vary by role. Applying does not guarantee an interview or placement; follow the instructions from the recruiting team.
Does remote work mean flexible hours, and is $8/hour the pay?
Remote roles can have a set working schedule. Review the hours, location requirements and compensation for the specific opening with the recruiter. The $8/hour starting figure on Boogie's pricing page is a client service price, not a promised candidate wage.
